Columbus Isle Bahamas

I've been to several Club Meds, and while they're all wonderful, a few things make Columbus Isle truly stand out. The beach is simply perfect, with powdery sand and crystal-clear water. But as always, it's the people who make the experience magical. ✨

Chef de Village Luca sets the tone with his positive, buoyant energy, which you can feel throughout the resort. Mathieu kept the sports programs running smoothly and brought infectious energy to the parties.

Barish deserves special recognition for bringing guests together. With French and French Canadian guests alongside Americans and Latin Americans, he seamlessly bridged languages and cultures, making everyone feel part of one joyful Club Med community. He made it look effortless!

The food was consistently fresh, delicious, and delightful, thanks to the talented executive chef and his team. In the dining room, Pascal's gentle teasing kept us laughing and entertained while he took wonderful care of us.

And DJ Giovanni kept us dancing into the wee hours, lighting up the dance floor with both his music and his wonderful smile! 💃

The bar crew deserves a special shout-out! Tania makes a stellar espresso martini: perfectly chilled and not too sweet. Jedi dispensed calm wisdom and a smile along with his wonderful drinks. And Felix, whose warmth, sensitivity, and creativity made every visit to the bar a pleasure, truly outdid himself. Ask him for his signature Presidente, or describe what you like and let him create something just for you. For us, he intuitively crafted a gorgeously balanced cocktail that seemed to capture the sunshine and turquoise sea in a martini glass. 💙🍸

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and always just the right temperature. Yoga classes were wonderful, whether in the lovely, clean gym or outdoors facing the spectacular sunset. 🌴

Even when the weather was a little off, rainbows made up for the clouds! 🌈

A special thank-you to Nurse Justine, who kindly provided supplies and thoughtful care for a small wound so that I could continue enjoying the beautiful water.

On our last day, we took the snorkeling excursion and were transported into a marvelous, almost meditative underwater world of colorful fish, beautiful coral, and impossibly clear water. 🐟

You come for the beach, but you return for the people and the community they create. ❤️

I have logged 54 trips to Club Med resorts and this must be one of the top spots to go. Friendly GO's great food, plenty of water sports. If you want to pick a short hop with great value I suggest Columbus Isle as the place to go

Beautiful location on an almost deserted island. The white sand beach is fantastic for long walks. Unfortunately the ocean was not as nice as it is usually in the Bahamas and it was wavy even too rough to get in at the beginning of my week there.
The GO were fantastic and despite the non cooperative weather they kept going and made each day enjoyable and fun. Great atmosphere, great site. Hats off to Matthew always full of enthusiasm and energy. Hats off to Pascal, and all the kitchen and restaurant team. Hats off to the spa team , thanks to you the rainy days were wonderful. And thanks to everyone else that made my vacation so special. From animation to bar. Special thanks to Melo and the cleaning team that shared moments to celebrate their island in music and dances. I will be back . Thank you Luca, your team is wonderful.

This was our 4th trip to Club Med, but our first time at the Bahamas location. This was the best experience we have ever had. Luca, the Chief of the Village was welcoming and interacted with us and all the guests on a daily basis. In our previous visits to Club Med (Turquoise), we never even met the Chief of the Village. We were welcomed warmly by the whole team and showed to our rooms. The entire spa staff were kind and friendly, though we never used the spa. Hugo taught us Bocce ball and we love it and played it daily after that; he was always checking in with us. Pascal, the restaurant manager, was friendly and making sure we had everything we needed. The boutique staff was helpful and helped us know what to do to deal with the noseeums (and their nasty bites) The facilities were well kept. After this trip, we decided this will most likely be our Club Med of choice. It is the best experience we have ever had. Great Job Club Med Columbus-Bahamas team!!! You are the best!!!

Luca and his team made our stay an enjoyable one. Even on rainy days they made the best they could to make it a better day for all the quests
